SYDNEY METRO WEST TUNNEL
The Western Tunnel Package (WTP) is one of three packages that make up the Metro West Program. The WTP project spans from Sydney Olympic Park to Westmead.
The WTP project includes:
Twin metro rail tunnels (Main Running Tunnels)
Two spur tunnels including junction connection to the Main Running Tunnels
Two station boxes
Tunnel portal and Dive structure
One Service Facility – Launch Shaft
Clyde Maintenance Facility Bulk Earthworks, associated Civil Structures and other associated civil works
CSS is providing Digital Engineering Management services to the principal contractor Gamuda. CSS developed the Digital Engineering strategy, implementation plan and is currently facilitating the execution of the works in accordance with Sydney Metro digital requirements (EIR). CSS is also providing construction phase support working closely with site managers delivering digital solutions for the construction works. The project is currently under construction and is due to be handed over in 2024.
